Register User

Description:

Click Register User to create the user name and confidential password.

Actions:

• Enter the Paylocity assigned Company ID.
• Enter the Last Name.
• Enter the nine digit Social Security number in the SSN field.
• Enter the SSN a second time in the Confirm SSN field.
• Enter the Date of Birth.
• Click the Continue button.
• On the next step, enter the Username. Usernames are not case sensitive. Usernames must be 3 to 20 characters in length. Usernames may not contain special characters other than . and _.
• Enter the Password. Passwords are case sensitive and must meet minimum security requirements.
• Enter the password a second time in the Confirm Password field.
• Click the Continue button.
• On the next step, select a login challenge question from the Question 1 drop down.
• Enter the answer to the login challenge question in the Answer 1 field (80 character limit).
• Select a login challenge question from the Question 2 drop down.
• Enter the answer to the login challenge question in the Answer 2 field (80 character limit).
• Select a login challenge question from the Question 3 drop down.
• Enter the answer to the login challenge question in the Answer 3 field (80 character limit).
• Click the Continue button.
• On the next step, verify all information is correct and click Finish to complete the User Registration.

Important Notes:

• In order to maintain confidentiality, employees must contact their Company Administrator with questions. Paylocity is not authorized to speak directly with employees.
• Initial self-registration is only available for employee users; it is not available for non-employee users.
• Enter employee user information exactly as it appears in the system.
• Users who establish challenge questions must select three unique questions and enter three answers. They may not select only one or two questions and they may not repeat a question once used.
